Google Removes Top Black Bar to Maximize Utility Space and Productivity

First thing I noticed this morning was that Gmail Inbox stretched vertically a bit. I moved around and figured that Gmail replaces Top Black Bar with Google Apps Icons to increase utility space. And later I figured that, this change implemented, is for each Google App and not just the Gmail.

So, basically Google has replaced Top bar with Toggable App Icon Tiles to maximize the utility space. Here’s the screenshot which envisions it:

This change can become odd for the users habitual to Black Top Bar. But, I’m in favour of this change, as after all More Space is More Productivity. 😉
