A lot of people use smart phones now and most of them don’t know its wireframe behind it. Not kidding!
I recently read online about the GPS Vulnerability in smartphones and felt like spreading it with people around.
Well, it make sense, as the research says that your smartphone can be hacked while you are sharing your location on the apps like Latitude, FindFriend etc. The reason is the use of Assisted GPS, which makes an insecure link between your phone and the application provider, hence you can be easily eaten up.
Software development companies might not be aware of this security hole until the research came out, but you can be on a safer side by switching your A-GPS off or avoid using such location sharing apps or may be buy an iPhone. 😀
